Alaska, October 2009
Once again a chance to go to Alaska to support a satellite launch campaign. This time we was able to stay in Fairbanks for the whole trip (a little nicer than Prudhoe Bay :-) ) The weather was fantastic most of the trip, with unseasonably warm temps that were higher than back home in CO! We took a drive to the along the south side of Denali NP, caught a fleeting display of aurora, took some time exposures of the night sky, and I once again tried my best to do any justice to the incredible scenery on the flight back to the lower 48. A fun trip and a great satellite launch too!
