Yosemite Park Sign

We started off the trip with a hike to the base of Yosemite Falls.

Late Afternoon at Mirror Lake

One of the highlights of our Yosemite visit was getting back to see Mirror Lake at the extreme east end of the park. The light was amazing and the views were special.

General Grant Tree

The second largest Sequoia tree, General Grant, is no slouch when it comes to size and height. Even my widest camera lens struggles to get the entire tree in the image.

Famous Sequoia Sign

We ended up driving longer than we intended to get to the iconic Sequoia National Park sign, which was at the southern entrance to the park. We found a nice couple who were able to drive my camera well enough to get a good picture of the 2 of us together under the sign.

Sequoia Stand

These huge trees are so big it is a challenge to fit them fully in the frame, but at any crop and scale they are still amazing to see.

Late Day Light on Moro Rock

The climb up Moro Rock pays off with some lovely subtle shades looking out close to the sun at the end of day.
