The first scenic overlook when approaching the Grand Canyon from the eastern entrance, the Desert View overlook provides a tantalizing view of what lies ahead on the southern rim drive through the park. This is a 4 image stitch taken from the overlook, on a warm late April afternoon.
The late day sun illuminates the Watchtower at the Desert View Overlook in the Grand Canyon while a bench provides an ideal spot to admire the view.
