Utah National Parks, September 2018
We finally rebooted our aborted Utah trip from 2012, this time with family and relatives along for portions of the first 3 parks. We hit all 5 national parks in Utah, and continued to be amazed at the variety that each was able to offer compared to the others. Each one had a unique landscape, some had multiple different landforms all contained in the same park.
Even in September it was still pretty hot, but seemed to get cooler the farther west we drove, and the later we got into our trip.
We finished things off on our last day with a stupendous photo tour in Upper Antelope Canyon, followed by catching the last rays of sunset on Monument Valley while we listened to the hauntingly beautiful notes of a Navajo flute player welcoming the end of the day over the valley. Truly a fantastic trip!
