Waterton Lakes Park

We traveled for a day up to the canadian side, to Waterton Lakes National Park. The weather was pretty poor, but the area was still beautiful.

Along GTTS Road

he famous 'Going To The Sun road was closed in the middle to repair previous avalanche damage, but we were able to drive a ways up from both sides of the park, and still say some beautiful scenery.

Room With A View

The very first morning, I almost didn't get up (it had looked quite cloudy the night before), but when I peaked out I saw the sun just kissing the top of the peaks. By the time I got out there, I saw this shot. I stopped to swap lenses, and in that amount of time the clouds rolled in again. But after seeing this, I was plenty motivated for the next morning :o) Quite a view right out on the balcony of your hotel room, huh?
