Wildlife Sanctuary, August 2018
Dan, Bruce and I headed over the the Wildlife Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO for an afternoon of wildlife shooting. Dan was the most experienced of the group, with Bruce and I still getting the hang of things. After some brief rains when we first arrived, the day turned into a wonderful day, and we had great fun shooting all kinds of animals. The subjects ranged from sound asleep, to whizzing through the air, and posed some challenges to capture well. I could have used a longer lens for virtually all the images I shot, but the extra megapixels of the 5DSr let me crop very aggressively to compensate somewhat.
