Residents
he 'residents' of the area were giving all of the 4WD vehicles some close scrutiny, but they eventually headed over the top of the hill. They all appeared very impressive with their full winter coats looking ready for the colder weather.
Rough Customer
Even standing on a walking platform a safe distance above this alligator, it is hard to feel very relaxed. This one was virtually motionless - which was fine with me. Photographed in the Big Cypress Preserve.
Humpback Whale Diving
There were lots of whales to see on pour excursion boat that left out of Juneau. It took a combination of some practice and also some luck to catch one of the whales as it dove down deeper and exposed its tail.
